Tarot & Tea at Inner Light: A Space to Sip, Connect, and Explore

There’s something special about slowing down in the evening, a warm cup of tea in your hands, soft conversation around you, and just enough curiosity in the air to spark something new.

That’s the feeling behind our Tarot & Tea Series at Inner Light.

A space to gather.
To connect.
To explore something a little different, together.

What is Tarot & Tea?

Bring a friend, or come meet new ones, for a cozy evening of tea, conversation, and an exploration of the world of tarot and oracle cards.

Tarot & Tea is a new quarterly series, created as a relaxed, welcoming space where you can:

  • learn the basics of card reading

  • ask questions without pressure

  • explore your intuition

  • and connect with others in a meaningful way

This isn’t a formal class. It’s a conversation. One that unfolds gently, with curiosity and openness at the center.

🔮 A Gentle Introduction to Tarot

Tarot is a centuries-old practice that uses a deck of symbolic cards to invite reflection, intuition, and insight. But despite what many people think, tarot isn’t about predicting the future.

It’s about pausing. It’s about looking inward and exploring the stories, patterns, and possibilities present in your life right now.

The cards don’t tell you what will happen. They help you see more clearly what’s already there.

For many, tarot becomes a tool for:

  • self-reflection

  • decision-making

  • emotional awareness

  • and reconnecting with inner guidance

And the best part? You don’t need to be “intuitive” or experienced to begin.

Oracle vs. Tarot: Our First Gathering

Each evening in this series will explore a different theme.

Our first gathering (April 24th at 6:00pm) will focus on: Oracle vs. Tarot decks

We’ll explore:

  • what makes them different

  • when you might choose one over the other

  • how each can be used as a tool for guidance and reflection

  • and how to begin working with them in a way that feels natural and personal

Oracle cards are often more free-flowing and intuitive, while tarot follows a more structured system with traditional meanings. Both are beautiful tools. And this evening is about discovering what resonates with you.

This experience is intentionally light, approachable, and beginner-friendly.

There’s no pressure to know anything. No expectation to “get it right.”

Just bring your curiosity. Whether you’re brand new to tarot, have a deck sitting at home you’ve never opened, or simply feel drawn to the energy of the evening, you’re welcome here.

🌙 Meet Your Host: Robyn

The evening will be guided by Robyn, who has been reading tarot for over 15 years.

Her approach is warm, grounded, and deeply approachable.

She creates space for conversation, questions, and exploration—without overwhelm or intensity.

Think of it less like a lecture… and more like sitting down with someone who gently opens the door into a new world.

At its heart, Tarot & Tea isn’t just about learning tarot.

It’s about:

  • slowing down

  • connecting with others

  • giving yourself space to reflect

  • and enjoying a moment that feels a little different from the everyday

There’s something powerful about gathering in this way.

Simple.
Intentional.
Real.

Come for the tea,
stay for the insight,
and enjoy a little touch of mystery.

Whether you leave with new knowledge, new connections, or just a sense of calm… this space is here for you.
